I was born on the west coast of British Columbia and after a few years attending school in the U.S., I moved permanently to southern Ontario. I am most proud of being a mom to two amazing young-adults and love watching them as they start on their own life journeys. I bought my first mountain bike at age 52 as "retirement prep" and since that time, the mountain bike community has opened up my world to new goals, new adventures and best of all, new friends. I am most grateful for my time at home, where I am learning to renovate my garage, try new recipes, write, and of course, plan my next mountain bike adventure.
